Rocking the Suburbs

It would figure that I would try to start blogging regularly and then not post again for weeks. Hopefully I'll get into a groove at some point.

Notable things for the last few days:

Home Run Derby was a blast to watch as always, even if it was a little long. Albert Pujols put on a pretty good show, lasting to the second round before bowing out. Probably a good thing over all. The winner, Prince Fielder, was arguably the star of the show, belting out several long homeruns over 500 ft.

As far as the all star game goes, that could have been better. The American League won again, leaving a sneaking suspicion that the National League is simply outclassed. The happiest person there though ,was Yadi Molina. His first all star game and has a great day behind and at the plate.

Not a lot else happened until the last few days when Dan "Awesome" Kelley came to visit. We had a great time with Fred as well, drinking, smoking cigars, and trying to run Ethernet cable through my house with mixed results.

During the hang out, Fred turned me on to a show called "Moonlighting" which was an old detective show starring Bruce Willis. I have no idea how I haven't seen this show before, and so far the pilot is hilarious.

Anyway, we'll see how this blogging things goes. Hopefully I'll get into the swing of things yet.
